Founded and operated by Janet Rahn, From rescuing wildlife to touring South America with the Purina® Incredible Dog Team to appearing on The Late Show with David Letterman with her talented pups, Janet has truly done it all! Her years of experience in dog training, grooming, behavioral work, and the world of dog shows have shaped the knowledge and passion behind Dog Gone Sensational.
Dog Gone Sensational brings together decades of experience in dogs, training, grooming, showing, and canine care. With 40 years of experience working with dogs, Janet has dedicated her life and career to helping dogs and their owners build stronger relationships and enjoy life together.
From training and grooming to boarding, daycare, swimming, and dog sports, our goal is to provide a place where dogs can learn, play, relax, and receive the individual attention they deserve.

Janet’s extensive experience includes dog training, grooming, conformation and dog shows, canine behavior, and working with dogs of all breeds and temperaments. Her knowledge and passion for dogs are at the heart of everything we do at Dog Gone Sensational.
Our team also brings valuable professional experience to your dog’s care. Several members of our staff have veterinary and animal-care backgrounds, giving our team additional knowledge in canine health, handling, medication administration, behavior, and recognizing changes in a dog’s well-being.
Our staff is experienced in providing individualized care, safely handling dogs with different personalities and needs, administering medications, following special feeding instructions, and making sure every dog receives plenty of attention, exercise, and enrichment during their time with us.
